We are looking forward to Lakeridge Support Sunday, a presbytery-wide pulpit exchange on April 30, 2017. Thank you for being willing to participate in this experience of sharing, worship and community!
Ministry personnel and a lay Presbyter will be teamed up to lead your individual congregation in worship and in a time of conversation after the service. The worship service will follow the regular order of service of your congregation.
Our congregation will welcome Rev. Anne Meredith from Brooklin United Church as well as Sharon Worsley, who will be our Presbytery team member.
Please join us following the service for refreshments and discussion.The conversation will be 30 minutes (max.) and will be led by the visiting team. It will focus around these questions:
1. What makes this church a blessing?
2. What can be improved upon?
3. What connections have you made with those around you? (eg. in your community, ecumenically, etc.)
4. Have you done any long term visioning/planning?
We hope this will be an opportunity for you to celebrate your church and to tell the visiting team about your life and ministry. It is also an opportunity for the presbytery to offer support.
