Dear Member or Adherent

A committee was formed in 2004 to develop a new governance model for our Congregation as a follow up to the recommendations from the Joint Needs Assessment Committee (JNAC). The committee spent much of their time in 2004 consulting the members of the Congregation, and the current committees under the Official Board. They presented their new governance model to the Official Board on December 5, 2004 and minutes of that meeting are attached (click here) for your review.

The Official Board will present the model to the Congregation at this year’s Annual General Meeting to be held in April, for Congregational approval. A Draft copy of the model is attached for your review prior to the AGM.

Once the Congregation has approved the Draft, it will be sent to Presbytery for review and their approval prior to implementation.
