Visioning Workshop—Saturday, March 23rd from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Visioning Workshop: Please plan to attend this workshop on Saturday, March 23rd from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.
The workshop is planning to assist us with the following:
· process the information we received at the AGM, especially in regards to the congregation's finances, and consider options for responding to that,
· place the congregation's situation within the context of larger cultural shifts that are affecting all congregations,
· begin to discern where God is at work in our midst,
· consider how we will discern what the next step might be where God is leading us.
In preparation for that day, please consider the following questions:
1. What hope and fear do you bring to this conversation?
2. What is one thing that your congregation does that makes a difference in the lives of the people in your neighbourhood?
3. Describe a time when you felt most alive, motivated and engaged in the life of this congregation. What happened? Who was involved? What were you doing? What made it inspiring?
